Lansing Grain Company, LLC, Names Krueger President

The Board of Directors at Lansing Grain Company, LLC, today named Bill Krueger, currently Chief Operating Officer, to the office of President. Dale Mayhew, formerly CEO and President, is the newly appointed CEO and Chairman of the Board. Mr. Mayhew will guide the company's strategic initiatives and long-range growth.

In announcing the board's decision, Mr. Mayhew said the change in management structure is the next step in the company's business plan. "Since 1995, Lansing Grain has grown from a company with $100 million in revenue to one with $700 million in revenue and Bill has been an integral part of that growth," Mayhew explained. "His knowledge and expertise qualify him as the ideal choice to lead the company's day-to-day operations."

Bill Krueger joined Lansing Grain in 1995 as Manager of the company's Kansas City office. He was promoted to Vice President of Commodity Marketing in 1997, a position he held until January of this year, when he was named Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Mayhew has been with the company for 30 years and has served as its President since 1983.
